A tree company that knows which trees to keep
We started because Mobile loses the same trees in every storm, and homeowners deserve a straight answer about which pines need to come down before the season, which oaks should be pruned instead of removed, and what the City requires.

Mobile is Alabama's second-largest city, just over 201,000 people by the Census Bureau's 2024 estimate after the 2023 annexation, and the wettest big city in the country, with the National Weather Service putting its average at just over 66 inches of rain a year. It has some of the oldest live oaks in the South and some of the tallest, thinnest pines, sitting at the end of hurricane alley. Frederic, Elena, Georges, Ivan, Katrina, Sally, Zeta and now Isaias have all come through, and after every one the same trees are on the same roofs.
Mobile Tree Co. is a locally operated tree company, not a franchise or a call center. We book and manage residential tree work across Mobile, Tillmans Corner, Theodore, Semmes, Saraland, Satsuma, Creola, Prichard, Chickasaw, Grand Bay, Bayou La Batre and the Eastern Shore: Daphne, Fairhope and Spanish Fort. An ISA Certified Arborist plans the work, the crews are insured for general liability and workers' compensation, and when the City of Mobile requires a Tree Commission permit and a certified, licensed and bonded arborist, we meet the requirement and pull the permit.
What we stand on
Look first, then quote
An estimator identifies the tree, measures the trunk, checks the canopy, the forks and the roots, looks at what it would hit, and checks the address on the City's permit map before anyone names a number. Plenty of trees can be pruned or cabled instead of removed, and we say so.
Work by the season
Hurricane prep from January to May, heavy pruning in late winter, deadwood any month, and storm response the night the wind comes. Pines that won't stand come down before June 1.
Haul everything
The City won't collect limbs over 12 inches across or 6 feet long, and when a contractor does the work the contractor owns the debris. Everything we cut is chipped on site or hauled to the landfill, and the tipping fee is in our price.
Answer the phone
Calls are answered 24 hours a day, including hurricane nights. Trees on structures are dispatched first; an estimator calls back the next business morning for everything that isn't an emergency.
